What the Year is Like

Expectations:

• Maintain regular attendance and acceptable performance in Religious School and mid-week Hebrew for at least three years prior to and including the B’nai Mitzvah year.
• Faithful completion of the activities contained in the B'nai Mitzvah notebook
•  Learn the required Hebrew and chants necessary to lead the Shabbat Service and read or chant from the Torah and Haftarah (morning service only).
• Attend the three cohort activities.
• Attend at least one service a month for the 12 months of the B’nai Mitzvah preparation.
• Maintain the required schedule of meetings with clergy.
• Undertake an individual Mitzvah Project.
