Temple Rodef Shalom, in partnership with the Fairfax County Police Department and Inova Hospital, will hold STOP THE BLEED classes at TRS to learn about how to use life-saving measures until first responders can arrive. In this 1 ½ hour class, you will learn:

• Why bleeding is the #1 preventable death after an injury and how to save a life
• Identify when life threatening bleeding is occurring
• Be able to recognize different types of injuries
• Learn how to control bleeding when someone is injured using wound packing and proper use of tourniquets.
• Learn about Temple Rodef Shalom safety plans.
