Called a "worthy and inspiring leader for the Zionist Left," Yair Golan is currently the leader of The Democrats, a political party in Israel reflecting the merger of the Israeli Labor and Meretz parties. The Democrats party is widely expected to be a major force in Israel's next elections. Golan's leadership marks a bold step toward rebuilding a democratic, secure, and hopeful future for all Israelis.

After a 38-year military career, Golan transitioned into political life out of a deep responsibility and sense of purpose. He served as a Member of the Knesset and Deputy Minister of Economy where he became known for his unwavering commitment to democracy, social justice, and human rights.

On October 7, 2023, he courageously rushed to the Gaza border as a civilian volunteer and used survivors' phone locations to personally find and rescue people trapped in the massacre zone. Golan

Golan will be interviewed by TRS member, Chuck Todd. Todd is a renowned political analyst and host of The ChuckToddCast, a weekly podcast offering in-depth interviews with political figures and experts. A six-time Emmy® Award-winner, Todd was NBC News’s chief Political Analyst and moderator of Meet the Press from 2014 to 2023. He also hosted Meet the Press NOW, a daily show on NBC News NOW, bringing timely political analysis to a digital audience.


Known for his sharp insight and encyclopedic knowledge of politics, Todd has co-moderated multiple presidential debates, including the record-breaking 2019 and 2020 Democratic debates. He previously served as NBC News’s chief White House Correspondent and hosted The Daily Rundown on MSNBC.


Premium ticket holders are invited to a private reception with Yair Golan from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM. Our program will begin at 7:45 PM.
