Dear TRS Family, Shanah Tovah! It was so wonderful to see so many of you over Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, as we brought in the new year of 5785 together. We were so moved by the time we spent together, by the beautiful music brought to us by our Cantors, choirs, and musicians, and by the hard work of so many people in the TRS community who made it all possible. Thank you all.

Many of you have asked us for copies of our sermons, and so we wanted to let you know that you can find the texts (along with archives of past years) here. On Rosh Hashanah, all three of us spoke about hope, from different perspectives. On Yom Kippur, Rabbi Schwartzman spoke about the power of Shabbat to help us navigate uncertainty, Rabbi Saxe spoke about the role of community in supporting each other through difficult times, and Rabbi Stein spoke about repairing relationships. You can also view recordings of most of these sermons (and the services they were a part of) here

Jewish tradition teaches that Sukkot, the holiday we have just entered, is a time for joy and community, a time to enjoy the natural world, and also a time to continue the work of repentance so core to this season. Wherever and however you are, we hope this week brings you meaning and connection.

Chag Sameach and Shabbat Shalom,

Rabbi Amy Schwartzman, Rabbi Jeff Saxe, and Rabbi Alexandra Stein
